the Goyder Interpretive Garden offers visitors a beautiful and educational glimpse into the region’s history and landscape. Set on the site of Robertstown’s former railway yard, the garden preserves elements of its past, including a section of track, a goods crane, railway signs, and vintage farm machinery.
Designed as a dry-land native garden, it’s divided by a north-south pathway representing the famous Goyder’s Line, with contrasting vegetation on each side to reflect the changing environments that define the Mid North.
Entirely created and maintained by the Robertstown community, the garden is a true labour of love, a place to pause, learn, and appreciate both the natural and human stories that shape this remarkable region.
