Farrell Flat Silo Art
The Farrell Flat Silo Art stands proudly as a tribute to the town’s rich railway heritage and the stories of days gone by. The mural captures the region’s grain-growing past, but it also hides a playful tiny elephant painted into the wheat. According to local folklore, circus trains once passed through the area, and it’s said that a young elephant died and was buried nearby. The artists have honoured this tale with a hidden nod to the legend. See if you can spot it!
Created by artists Jarred Soden and Matthew Knights, the Farrell Flat silos are a striking blend of history, creativity, and community storytelling, an unmissable stop on any Mid North adventure.
