Nature Studio: Meet the Grasslands

Nature Studio: Meet the Grasslands
Slow down, look closely and discover the tiny wonders hidden within Burra’s native grasslands.
Join therapeutic horticulturalist and artist Emma Lewellyn for Nature Studio: Meet the Grasslands at Mine Hill, Burra.
This welcoming nature journaling experience invites people of all ages and abilities to explore Burra’s critically endangered native grasslands. Look beyond the sweeping landscape and discover the smaller details, textures and natural treasures often overlooked beneath our feet.
Through art, observation and nature journaling, Emma will introduce participants to the idea of the “slowscape”. It’s an opportunity to move mindfully, look more closely and explore the connection between caring for nature and ourselves.
Emma brings together nature, wellbeing, art and education through therapeutic horticulture and nature-based programs designed to strengthen connections with the natural world.
