Flinders to Fleurieu Rally *POSTPONED*
FLINDERS TO FLEURIEU RALLY POSTPONED TO 2027
The organising team of the Operation Flinders to Fleurieu Rally has made the difficult decision to postpone the inaugural event, originally scheduled for September 2026.
Reduced road availability across sections of the proposed route, particularly in the Flinders Ranges, has meant that the organising team can no longer confidently deliver the event in 2026 to the standard expected by competitors, officials, sponsors and supporters.
Clerk of the Course Owen Polanski said the decision had not been taken lightly.
“An enormous amount of work has gone into preparing this event, and we know that competitors, officials and supporters have also made significant commitments to be part of it.
Ultimately, safety and delivering a high-quality event that represents genuine value for our competitors had to come first.”
“Rather than compromise what we believe the Flinders to Fleurieu Rally should be, we have made the difficult but responsible decision to postpone.”
THE JOURNEY CONTINUES IN 2027
The good news is that the Flinders to Fleurieu Rally is not going away.
Planning is already underway to reschedule the event for late May or early June 2027, with further details and confirmed dates to be announced as soon as possible.
The organising team would particularly like to thank the competitors who committed to the inaugural event, the hundreds of volunteer officials who offered their time, and the councils, communities, land managers, authorities, sponsors and supporters who have worked with the team throughout the planning process.

“To everyone who has put their hand up to compete, officiate, assist or support us — thank you.”
“This is a postponement, not the end of the journey. We intend to use the additional time to make the 2027 Flinders to Fleurieu Rally the event we always envisaged it would be.”

Flinders to Fleurieu Rally – Eudunda
The Flinders to Fleurieu Rally is coming to Eudunda
Head to Eudunda Oval to see the rally cars arrive from 10:00am. Cars will continue through during the morning, with the final car expected to depart around 1:00pm.
It’s a great opportunity for motorsport fans to see the rally action during its journey through regional South Australia. Visitors can also make a day of it and explore Eudunda and the wider Goyder Region.
