Art Exhibition – Suspended in Time

Suspended in Time | Burra Regional Art Gallery Exhibition
Suspended in Time is a contemporary art exhibition showcasing works by the Goyder Street Artists, inspired by the landscapes, buildings and atmosphere of South Australia’s Mid North.
Featuring paintings of old farmhouses, shadowy interiors, forgotten objects and evocative rural ruins, the exhibition explores the beauty, resilience and quiet vulnerability of country life. Working en plein air, Adelaide-based artists travelled through the region to capture the essence of place beneath expansive skies, where stories linger and memories are held.
This exhibition invites visitors to slow down and reflect on the spaces we pass through, the lives once lived there, and the enduring connection between people and land.
Participating artists:
Alison Laycock, Annie Hastwell, Gaye Brimbacombe, Edwina Shannon, Mignon Clift and Dympie James.
