The Story of Bungaree Station
Step into South Australia’s pastoral past with The Story of Bungaree Station, a self-guided experience at one of the state’s most iconic historic properties, located just north of Clare.
Established in 1841 by the Hawker family, Bungaree Station became the headquarters of one of Australia’s most successful sheep flocks and has grown into a fascinating “village-like” heritage complex featuring a homestead, woolshed, church, station store, and more.
